Located in the heart of Dubai, the Maktabi offices were designed as a vibrant and functional workspace that translates the brand’s dynamic spirit into spatial form. The brief called for a full interior fit-out that integrates brand identity, acoustic performance, and multifunctionality, creating a workplace that feels both inspiring and productive.
The design concept centered on expressing Maktabi’s signature blue as a unifying visual language. The color was woven into every space, walls, joinery, and graphics, reinforcing the company’s identity while creating a sense of continuity. The workspace was envisioned as a flexible environment that balances focus and collaboration, integrating distinct zones for meetings, relaxation, and informal interaction.
To enhance usability and comfort, acoustic rooms were introduced for private meetings and calls, offering soundproofed intimacy without visual isolation. A multifunctional area for workshops, team gatherings, and presentations. The addition of a hand-painted golf corridor brings a playful, human touch to the office, transforming circulation space into an experience that fosters creativity and connection.
Natural oak flooring, bold blue accents, soft grey upholstery, and touches of greenery establish a balance between professionalism and warmth. Minimal lighting and clean geometries emphasize openness and movement, while durable finishes ensure longevity within a high-use environment.
The result is a cohesive, brand-driven workspace that blends creativity with practicality. Every corner reflects Maktabi’s energy, vivid, structured, and forward-thinking, offering a full working environment that inspires productivity while celebrating individuality and team culture.
